Rings
At Le Coffre à Bijoux, we use French sizes (from 48 to 62 depending on the model).
Buying as a gift? The most common size in France for a women’s ring is around 54.
To find your size, here are two simple methods.
Method 1: measure your finger
- Wrap a thin thread (or a strip of paper) around the relevant finger. The thread should be snug without being tight.
- Mark where it meets, then measure the length obtained (in mm). This measurement corresponds to the circumference, and therefore to your size.
Method 2: measure a ring you already own
- Take a ring that fits you well on the same finger.
- Measure its inner diameter (in mm), from one inner edge to the other.
Size conversion table
| Size | Circumference | Diameter |
|---|---|---|
| 48 | 48 mm | 15.3 mm |
| 50 | 50 mm | 15.9 mm |
| 52 | 52 mm | 16.6 mm |
| 54 | 54 mm | 17.2 mm |
| 56 | 56 mm | 17.8 mm |
| 58 | 58 mm | 18.5 mm |
| 60 | 60 mm | 19.1 mm |
| 62 | 62 mm | 19.7 mm |
If you are unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one.
